Family Medicine Physician

Family Medicine Residency Medical Director / Multi-site Medical Director

Description:

MaineHealth is seeking an outstanding clinician-educator to serve as the Medical Director for the Family Medicine Residency in Portland and as Medical Director overseeing both the MaineHealth Primary Care Family Medicine Portland/Peaks and MaineHealth Primary Care Family Medicine Falmouth practices.  These practices are the outpatient clinical sites for MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Portland’s Family Medicine Residency Program.  The Falmouth practice also houses internal medicine and pediatrics primary care practices, each with a physician leader who reports to the Medical Director. 

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine with at least 3 years of experience. 
  • Demonstrated leadership, strong organizational, teaching, and mentoring skills. 
  • Past practice management experience and knowledge of performance improvement is required.
